Blinds: 8,000/16,000 ante 2,000
Jon Wallace raised to 37,000 on the button and Ivan Zarate defended the big blind. The two players both checked the [Ac9h9d] flop, then the turn brought the [2d]. Zarate checked, Wallace bet 42,000, and Zarate called.
The river was the [4s]. Zarate moved all in, and Wallace quickly called for his last 190,000 or so.
Zarate turned over [Qd9c] for trip nines, while Wallace held [AdQc] for aces up. Zarate took the pot to move to 650,000 and Wallace was out in 19th place.
Moments later on another table, RIU Partners event winner Ryan Leonis exited in 18th place. His partner, Max Brown, is still alive in the event.
Harry Corvese lost a flip to exit in 17th place. The final 16 players are now redrawing for seats at the final two tables.
