Survivor's Tyson Apostol raised to 700 from the cutoff, yesterday's 8-Game winner Jesse Capps called on the button, and the big blind called.
The flop came [AdQcJd] and the big blind checked to Apostol, who bet 1,200. Capps called and the big blind folded.
The two players checked the [6h] on the turn. The river was the [9c]. Tyson bet 2,300 and Capps announced raise, making it 5,000 to play. Apostol folded and Capps took the pot. He moved up to 22,000, while Apostol dropped to 12,100.
After the hand, Jesse Fullen, possibly trying to take advantage of Capps good mood after winning a pot, revisited the subject of Fullen's wife, which Capps, no joke, lost in a bet.
"I think I deserve a chance to win my wife back," Fullen suggested.
"Well," Capps pointed out, "Technically I own her, so I have to be the one to offer up this bet."
"Okay," Fullen responded. "But I think you need to come up with some sort of wager. Otherwise you need to start trying a little harder and really making an effort with her."
Capps nodded his head and appeared open to negotiations, but no word yet on if Mrs. Fullen is up for grabs in this Thursday Thrilla or not.
