Day 1b of the Run It Up Reno Main Event is in the books, and once again, the tournament's guarantee has been easily surpassed.

There were a total of 248 entries today but only 53 were able to find a bag at the end of the day. Today and Yesterday’s 176 entries brought the total number up to 424, a record-breaking for Run It Up Reno, that will be leaving the prize pool at 228,960.

Three-time Run It Up trophy winner Andrew Cha is the leader to end the day, bagging 334,500. The next closest stack appears to be Tony Piscitelli, with 321,500, and Kevin Gerhart rounds up the top three with 248,500.

Many players gave it another try today, including Samantha Abernathy, Rory Brown, Albert Ng and our fearless leader Jason Somerville.

JCarver sat down for another bullet right before dinner and won a massive pot when he found aces in a three-way all in. He ended up bagging a good stack of 188,000.

Some of the players who fired this Main Event but did not survive include Andy Camou, Albert Ng, Chip Tutu, David Lander, Rory Brown and Survivor winner Tyson Apostol.

With all Day 1 chips bagged, it’s still Day 1a's top stack holder, and Last October's RIU Main Event Winner, Loren Klein, with 340,400 chips, who is in the overall chip lead.

All players will return tomorrow at 12 p.m to battle it out for the money, the trophy and the title.

Counts and seating assignments will be posted here later in the night so stay tuned to for all the updates!
