Kevin Martin - 14th ($1,440)

Scott Thomson came into Day 2 as the chip leader with over 250,000, but he will have to settle for a top 16 finish in the Run it Up Reno Main Event after his [Axkx] ran into Jesse Capps' big blind special [qx6x] and the players got it in with a [axqx6x] flop. Joining Thomson on the rail are PokerStars Online pro and one of our RIU mini-seminar guests Kevin Martin, as well as JCarverPoker Twitch chat notable Buzz Carter, who was eliminated when his [AcTc] failed to hold the baby against the [Ad4d] of Austin Roberts.

The players went on their 6:30pm dinner break with thirteen left, and the tournament shifted from 40 minute level to 60 minutes per level sarting with Level 22 (8,000/16,000/2,000).

The player who finished in unlucky 13th position after the players came back from dinner was Andy "AndytheTimid" Camou. The final Mac & Cheeser in the Main Event fell when he got crippled by Chip "tzutzanu" Tutu and then a few hands later Andy's [5h5d] ran directly into Chip's [khkd].

Kevin Martin finished in 14th place after he ran pocket tens into the pocket queens of Richard Acovino. Andy Camou was the next to go in 13th place. He was crippled down to 48,000 when he lost with king-jack to Chip's ace-queen. Two queens peeled on the flop and turn and Chip doubled through. Shortly after, Camou got his remaining chips in the middle with pocket fives and ran into Chip's pocket kings to send him home.
