Day 7: Big Money, Second Chances and Mixed Games!

It's hard to believe Run it Up Reno has almost come to an end here at Peppermill Casino. It's Day 7 of 8 and it is also Day 2 of the Main Event! On top of this, there will be a WSOP Main Event Final Table 'November 9' viewing party at 9:00PM. Stick around as we watch both the RIU and WSOP Main Events play down to a winner over the course of the next two days.

Day 2 of the Main Event begins today at Noon. Players may still register until cards are in the air after which time registration will close and payouts will be calculated and posted shortly after that. Scott Thomson bagged 250,100 chips and leads the 82 runners who have moved on to Day 2 here at RIU Reno. Jesse Capps, who has a handful of final tables (including a win!) this series, is second in chips with 241,600. Steve Kujubu rounds out the top three with 182,000. There are way too many notables to list, but some of them include Jason 'JCarver' Somerville (147,500), Andy 'AndyTheTimid' Camou (107,700), Jimmy 'Untitled2jc' Cappucci (97,900), WSOP bracelet winner Loren Klein (80,500), Kevin Martin (69,500), Kevin Gerhart (43,200) and Dan O'Brien (23,600).

Seating Assignments can be found here.
A full list of chip counts can be found here.

On top of Day 2 action, there will be three additional tournaments running throughout the day. Here is the schedule:

2:00PM: $235 NLH Second Chance
For those of you who want another shot at RIU gold in a no-limit hold'em format, you will receive 15,000 chips and blinds will be 20-minutes long. Registration will close at 5:10PM.

6:00PM $125 8-Game 6-Max
Mixed-game specialists will love another shot in this 8-game tournament. Numbers for these games have been quite high, so expect a large field! 10,000 chips will be the starting stack with 20-minute levels. Registration will close at 8:50PM.

8:00PM $85 NL Omaha 8 6-Max
The last event for the day will be some no-limit Omaha hi-low action. Registration will close at 10:25PM, and players start with 8,000 chips and will play 15-minute levels.

Find the structures for these tournaments here.

Last but not least, the WSOP Main Event Final Table 'November 9' viewing party will be held at 9:00PM. The location is TBD and will be posted here on RunitUp.com as well as Twitter: @runitupreno

Good luck to everyone chasing that sweet RIU gold in these last couple of days!
