Main Event: No Survivors

Traditionally, the last Day 1 of any Main Event is the largest. For example, at the World Series of Poker Main Event (which wraps up at the end of RIU Reno with viewing parties Sunday and Monday night), Day 1A garnered 764, Day 1B attracted 1,733... and the final Day 1C blew them both out of the water with the largest WSOP Main Event Day 1 ever with 4,240 runners.

The Run it Up Reno Main Event is unlikely to buck that trend. Day 1A featured 119 players for the $600 Main Event. With last RIU peaking at 391 players and last October's at over 270, Day 1B is a near mortal lock to be much higher.

Among those familiar faces already in the early levels are Survivor: Blood vs. Water winner and Survivor: Tocantins/Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains competitor Tyson Apostol, unofficial Run it Up mom and poker pro Deb Swift, and Event 5 No-Limit Omaha 6-Max Green Chip Bounty champion Matt Coleman (and his iconic knit beanie).

Level 1 is about halfway done as we get things started from the Peppermill in the RIU Main Event!
