Albert Ng Takes Down His First RIU Gold Trophy

Albert Ng is the latest RIU Trophy winner after a three-way deal. When three-handed play began, Albert was not the chip leader and made it very clear he did not want to make a deal. He wanted the trophy and felt that any type of deal would be a hindrance and keep him from ultimately winning the trophy.

He won a pot off John Skrovan when he flopped a set and a straight draw. Now that Albert had the lead, he was open to making a deal. In true RIU spirit the three decided to even chop. Albert would get the trophy and one extra dollar, plus the main event seat.

Skrovan and Anthony Summers each took home $1,910 and Albert went home with $1,911. The winner's photo shoot had to wait a few minutes for Albert to gather the other members of Team Chewy.

The win caps off a great week for Albert and Team Chewy. Melissa Wang (MellyBearGoRawr) started things off by winning her main event seat and $4,764 in a three-way chop of the Kickoff event. Then Albert followed that up with two final tables before finally winning the trophy tonight.
